Maja received wide recognition from the Media after Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan acknowledged her admiration of Maja's refined art symbolized by pearl earrings that she specially designed for Her Majesty.

Recently, Maja launched her collection of evening bags “Jewelbag” made in wire with semiprecious stones and pearls, as well as turtle shell leather and peacock feathers. The idea was to turn a purse into a jewel artistic expression of how to use stones to ornament the classic handbags. Maja's inspiration for her collections often comes from nature but also from her many travels and from having lived on three continents during the last 14 years.

The shapes found in her pieces are organic, playful and abstract. However, in “Santosh” she detached from the organic to create a clear cut collection of puzzle pieces put together in perfect harmony to create earrings, necklaces and bracelets combined with pearls and stones. Her creations are intricate and playful. Her passion is pearls, which she has revolutionized with her versatile designs and the combination of elements like silver and stones. Maja's pieces are unique in character, usually one of a kind, turning them in objects of art. She masters exquisite design with excellent craftmanship, making each piece invaluable creations.

Maja's work is widely sold in New York, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Caracas and Ecuador.
